Breaches have continued to rise in 2015 and into 2016, especially in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) space. As a result, there have been several changes and updates required to address new and emerging threats. In April of 2016, the PCI Council released yet another update to the Data Security Standard (DSS). This presentation will discuss changes that have occurred within the PCI industry over the last 12 – 24 months, identify trends and what to expect in the future and especially identify the new changes within PCI DSS 3.2.
